A few years ago I picked up the bike again, it had been 15 years since I had ridden a speed bike, a bike with gears, a bike for punishing the body and punishing the others riding. It was great, an instant bond, once again. Yesterday was the final push across Nebraska and into Colorado and finally arriving in Boulder. Can’t believe we made it, it is not that bad of a drive and without the cats we would have been here even sooner. The drive was boring and straight, 90MPH the whole way. Not much to see, but some subtle changes in the landscape as we went west. Anna and I actually had a pretty fun time and laughed a bit.
Now that we are in Boulder it is weird, things are just so different than we are used too. Not sure if that is a good thing or not yet, but I think it might be. The first night in Boulder...
